Jared Abrahamian

Candidate in the 2-year Master of Architecture degree program
Favorite thing about being at Georgia Tech: One word—Community. After being part of the Georgia Tech community for over 5.5 years, I can truly say this is the place where dreams are realized. Like other elite universities, Georgia Tech is incredibly competitive to get into, yet it stands apart with its culture of collaboration, where everyone is eager to help one another succeed. We truly are all in it together. Throughout my time here, I've pursued some unconventional ideas, and I've been fortunate to have the support of an incredible faculty who helped bring them to life.
Who do you want to design for? I want to design for visionary people with a deep sense of purpose and the courage to dream boldly. When working on a project, I deeply invest in understanding those I design for, seeking a shared vision. I am dedicated to transforming our shared dreams into reality, creating designs that inspire and elevate those around us. I aspire to collaborate with individuals who are passionate about innovation and challenging convention, fostering community and embracing the artistic side of architecture.
What do you do for fun? I spend much of my free time in our incredible Digital Fabrication Lab, creating sculptures and 3D-printed art using plastic, ceramic, and concrete. I also make Instagram content documenting my journey to becoming an architect. Feel free to connect and check out my page for a glimpse into my life as a grad student at Georgia Tech, where I share not just my schoolwork but also the fun and shenanigans that come with it.
